Job DescriptionDescriptionThe role involves creating, pricing, and arranging trips to southern Africa for travelers through international agents.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate client requirements regarding interests, needs, and budgetProvide timely quotes for all requested servicesMake reservations for all client servicesRespond to written inquiries and send written confirmationsInput reservations into TourplanConfirm services with suppliersMaintain regular communication with agents on reservation status, payment terms, deadlines, and reservation conditionsOrganize Meet and Greets when necessaryStay in touch with tour guides during toursHandle client complaints and emergenciesKeep in contact with agents RequirementsQualifications and ExperienceMatric / Grade 12Preferably a qualification in Travel & Tourism4 years of experience in FIT-Tailor Making Tour consulting in the tour operating industryFamiliarity with Tourplan is advantageousCompetencyFluent in English and MandarinUnderstanding of customer needs and productsAbility to negotiate with suppliers for availability and ratesStrong knowledge of the tourism industryExcellent knowledge of South African geographyProficiency in Touring LogisticsSalaryCompetitive salary based on relevant experience.
