Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance our Travel brand presence and drive business growth.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field.
Candidates for this role must have previous experience within the travel industry working in a marketing role. Detailed knowledge of Africa travel is critical.
Digital Marketing Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years.
Travel Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years.
Skills required for the position:
Excellent English language skills for copywriting purposes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Experience and knowledge of Africa travel.
Proactive and self-motivated team player with good attention to detail.
Experience with Ability creation and to scheduling of social media posts.
Experience with email marketing and SEO strategies.
Email marketing experience working with MailChimp or similar.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and WordPress.
Proficient in project management and time management.
CRM experience.
Key Accountabilities:
Digital communications - Newsletters, E-shots, LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook.
Website content creation and web updates.
Updating & creating branded assets.
Leading the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaborating with the sales team to develop promotional materials.
Monitoring and analysing marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
