As a Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for: Oversee day-to-day operations of carrier pickups to ensure smooth shipment flow from fulfilment centres. Review and optimize carrier schedules to meet operational needs and service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor carrier performance using key metrics such as on-time delivery, cost, and service quality. Conduct performance reviews and address issues with carriers as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Establish procedures for managing relationships between outbound teams and local parcel carriers. Resolve or escalate parcel operations exceptions efficiently. Prepare reports on carrier performance and cost analysis for senior management. Lead new client onboarding, including deployment of resources. Maintain strong relationships with existing carriers and identify new ones to expand the network. Manage and develop a team, ensuring alignment with goals and fostering collaboration. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in carrier operations. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting carrier management. Work with internal stakeholders to align carrier performance with customer expectations. Address customer issues related to carrier performance promptly. What Do You Need?: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration. Masters Degree (would be a plus). Very experienced with logistics and carrier operations.
