Transport Infrastructure/ Mobility Lead Researcher

Our client is seeking to employ a highly experienced Researcher who will manage a team of Researchers in the field of transport systems and operations / transport infrastructure.
Requirements:A PhD degree in engineering, economics, or related fieldA Masters qualification may be acceptable for highly experienced candidates on a journey to completing a PhD degreeA rating with the National Research Foundation will be advantageousOther requirements:15 years technical leadership experience in at least one of the following research fields:Infrastructure economicsPassenger transportTransport infrastructure engineeringTransport safetyMaterials testing and designTransport modellingIntelligent transport systemsExperience with the successful coordination of high impact collaborations between research and industryOutstanding technical record over a ten-to-fifteen-year period, including high impact publications and technical reportsTrack record in the development of policies and/or industry standardsRegistration with a relevant professional bodyExcellent understanding of global mobility and technology trendsAbility to lead the development of newer technologies
