The transport analyst will focus on the critical internal processes that will have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction and achieving the Groups' financial objectives. Based in Montague Gardens Distribution Centre (Cape Town). Job ObjectivesOverall planning, co-ordinating, and monitoring logistics operations relating to transportation.To monitor and co-ordinate routing and scheduling practices across all Distribution centres and cross dock facilities.To work with dispatch managers/supervisors at each facility to ensure routing and scheduling plans are met. Play a co-ordinating role in aligning with warehouse management in order to meet route cut off times in order to ensure customer service commitments are met.To ensure standard order dispatching practices are standardized across all distribution centres and that SOP's are monitored and measured.To ensure that tracking processes are in place to measure and manage performance on a weekly basis and reported for weekly scorecard meetings.Set up tracking and monitoring across all sites to manage the reverse logistics process by ensuring that pick-ups are done as per SLA via courier, owner driver and owned vehicles.To ensure that customer queries are processed/resolved.
