Transfers Administrator Fourways, Gauteng Sectional Titles and HOAs Permanent Job Advertisement: Transfers Administrator (Property Industry) Position: Transfers Administrator About the Role: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transfers Administrator to join their team in the property industry.
This role involves managing the transfer process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property transfers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Supply attorneys with administrative invoices and advise them, along with the legal department, on transfers.
Confirm any special levies or levy increases and check with the legal department for arrears or legal status on accounts.
Open new client accounts on the operating database and update the master file accordingly.
Perform journal adjustments and ensure all information sheets are sent to customer service consultants after transfers are completed.
Calculate clearance figures for transfers and issue them to conveyancers and attorneys.
Recalculate extended figures as needed and ensure all outstanding legal fees are included in the calculations.
Issue clearance certificates and communicate with the conveyancer, owner, and purchaser regarding fees.
Report on the number of transfers and any issues experienced within the department to the Transfers Manager and the Head of Transfers and Legal Recoveries.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
Strong understanding of the property transfer process and related legal requirements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using property management software and databases.
