Job Summary
The Training Specialist is a Budtender that provides on-the-job training to newly hired employees as well as enhanced education to current employees to keep everyone up-to-date on internal policy and applicable procedures to meet job requirements. They work closely with the HR Manager and Store Manager to execute on objectives related to employee development, including orientation training, performance improvement training, and RVT administration.
Pay
Pay for this role begins between $19.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.
Essential Functions Complete action items from the Onboarding Dashboard for any incoming employees (Orientation-training, RVT, Leafly)Perform previously scheduled training with new or existing staff; maintain the training log accordinglyMaintain up-to-date individual CCC Training Logs and Training Agendas for all staffWork from the training plan to schedule applicable training hours for staff 2 weeks in advance (limit OT)(get approved by manager)Compile and distribute weekly quiz content through Google Forms and Gmail regarding products, policies, and proceduresFollow up with staff on any wrong answers from the weekly quiz or missed deadlinesReport to HR Manager and Store Manager on training progress and any additional needsReview any Retail Personnel Assessments and follow up with staff for scheduled training as neededAudit CCC Training Logs and Training Agendas for all staffEssential Skills and Strengths
