Training Officer

Education & Experience:* Matric, NQF Skills Development Facilitation / Assessor / Moderator qualification* Must be computer literate* Valid drivers license is required* Own reliable transport * Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Training Officer or Equivalent position within the mining or engineering industrySkills and Competencies:* Knowledge and understanding of Safety practices, skills development acts and related legislations* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with management, clients, customers and employees* Good analytical and problem-solving skills* Above average computer skills MS Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint presentations* Ability to gather, compile, analyze and report on statistical data* Service orientated and team playerKey Responibilities:* To liaise with management and clients regarding legal compliance training* Gather information, analyze current skills, conduct a gap analyzis, identify training needs in accordance with training expiry dates and job requirements* Compile and present the training plan and schedules in accordance with needs identifies, to senior management and site management for consideration and apporval* Liaise with training service providers obtain quotes for planned and approved training, facilitate purchase orders in accordance with the procurement procedures* Arrange and facilitate in house induction and training at various business units/sites.* Recordkeeping training, expenses, invoices, certificates, minutes of meetings etc.* Upload training certificates on the SHE folder in one drive as and when training is conducted* These are just some of the duties, but not limited to additional requirements.
