The human capital department requires a committed, experienced and motivated Training and Development Coordinator to join their team.
The successful candidate will plan and book legislative and developmental training, consult with internal and external stakeholders and efficiently organize training needs for the organization.
Compile and submit legislative reporting requirements like submitting the WSP and ATR.
Assessor & Moderator scope with TETA would be ideal.
In this role, you should combine a strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
You should also be a reliable problem-solver with strong project management skills.
Your goal will be to ensure that our training programs are engaging and run smoothly.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Participate in creating and implementing training programs, Work closely with business units to assess existing and future employee development requirementsMaintain training records (e.g.
trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)Book training facility and ensure professional presentationPrepare and disseminate material (e.g.
instructional notes, feedback forms)Act as a point-of-contact for vendors and participantsHandle accounts receivable and ensure invoices are paidResolve issues as they arise onsiteSubmit reports on training activities and resultsRecommend improvements or new programsEnsure employees and vendors follow established policiesGenerate and submit legislative training reports as required WSP/ ATRSchedule and coordinate legislative training /soft skills/team building/ & workshops amongst othersAssist with onboarding of new employees by facilitating Induction and orientation Qualifying Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar roleExperience dealing with MERSETA will be advantageousAssessor & Moderator Scope with TETA Grade 12 or equivalentTertiary Education - National Diploma/Degree in Business, HR, Training or related fieldOrganizational Development / project management experience advantageousExcellent computer Literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to work in a pressurized environmentAbility to work independently and in a teamGood planning and organizational skillsFull knowledge and understanding of Training & related legislation and structuresKnowledge and understanding of the following legislation; EE Act, SD Act and OHSA;Ability to converse in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa would be an added advantage;Excellent communication and facilitation skillsQualifying Attributes: Hard-working and self-motivatedExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailDisplay a professional work approachAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamLogical and detail orientatedExcellent standards in executionCommitment to a strong business ethic and integrity
