Training Consultant (Rigger)

Formal Education: Grade 12 Qualified Rigger Artisan with three years related work Two years work experience as a Trainer N4 Mechanical Engineering Certificate Trained/Registered Trade Test Assessor and Moderator Criteria: Rigger in manufacturing/mining/production environment Ability to train and prepare candidates in Rigging Train the Trainer Candidates must be a South African Citizen; Welding experience in the manufacturing, production and mining environment Training of apprentices and P1 candidates will be advantageous Competencies/Skills Required: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Possess excellent command of the English language Strong analytical and technical skills Excellent planning abilities Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-moving environment Ability to adapt easily to change Ability to grasp and interpret technical processes and procedures efficiently Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a team, with the willingness to put in extra effort and time when the team is under pressure Responsibilities: Training of apprentices/skills programmes/short courses Ability to train against the occupational qualifications and part qualifications Trade Testing/ARPL Training administration General competency assessments
