Training and Development Manager

Here, you'll achieve results by:
Programme Development and Implementation

Design, implement, and continuously improve training programmes tailored to meet the development needs of Starbucks partners at all levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive onboarding experiences that align with our Company values and operational standards.

Facilitation and Coaching

Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and leadership development programmes both in person and virtually.
Coach partners and leaders to support skill development and career growth while ensuring alignment with Starbucks' values.

Performance Analysis and Improvement

Utilise data-driven insights to assess programme effectiveness and partner engagement, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Conduct needs assessments and surveys to tailor training solutions to specific regional, role-based, and organisational requirements.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead and mentor a team of training specialists, fostering a collaborative environment and inspiring team performance.
Work closely with HR, Operations, and Leadership to align training initiatives with broader organisational goals.

Culture Stewardship

Champion Starbucks' mission and values by modelling and integrating them into all training and development initiatives.
Develop and drive strategies to promote a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and continuous learning across all locations.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Organisational Development, Education or a related field.
5+ years of experience in training and development, ideally in the retail or hospitality industry.
Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning solutions, with a strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams, effectively prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools is a plus.
