The Star Factory has an exciting opportunity for a Trainer to join our team and be based in Western Cape.
The Trainer will be responsible for managing, creating, and coordinating all training in the non-accredited areas of the company, ensuring that non-accredited courses are delivered and reported on to the business.
Minimum Requirements: Be computer literateHave a minimum of 1 year experience as a trainerBonus to have: Completed a diploma or degreeBe SDF registeredResponsibilities: Create an effective learning environment, incorporating online, remote, and face-to-face strategies.Develop and implement learning interventions as agreed by business and senior management.Research and recommend new training methods.Conduct pre and post-training assessments for delegates.Facilitate, design, and develop learning content.Establish and maintain learner records after each intervention.Compile and submit post-training reports for internal and external training conducted.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training interventions to identify opportunities for improvement.Conduct evaluation of the impact of training and advise on corrective measures.Understand e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages.Help individuals, line managers, and HR to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.Design and expand training and development programs based on both the business' and the individual's needs.Maintain an e-learning library of systems training content on the learning management system, ensuring that material is kept up to date and is relevant.Keep an accurate record of all training conducted in line with agreed standard operating procedures.Assist in the management of the Star Labs hub, and in consultation, create new training programmes, assessing their effectiveness and reporting to the business.Assist all leadership training and development.Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate sound presentation skills to capture attention and maintain interest through an interactive approach.Demonstrate high energy, enthusiasm, and motivation in execution of work.Strong sense of accountability, dedication, and high sense of responsibility.Be proficient in training methodologies and best practices.Please be advised that should you not be contacted within 30 days, kindly consider your application to be unsuccessful.
