Job category: Engineering, Technical, Production and ManufacturingContract: PermanentRemuneration: Market RelatedEE position: YesAbout our companyHestoIntroductionHesto Harnesses is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join the Rework department.ResponsibilitiesEnsure to get the priority shipment schedule from Ford.Ensure manning is per manpower requirements.Monitor absenteeism daily and coordinate effective allocation of transition operators.Verify and sign stores requisitions before authorization by superior.Ensure subordinates adhere to set procedures and abide by the code of conduct and department rules.Follow up on defects and implement countermeasures to reduce defects.Conduct disciplinary action in accordance with company policy.Audit at least 30% of employee files per week.Perform weekly checks using layered audit check sheets.Ensure employees have the right tools and PPE.Minimum RequirementsMatric/NQF Level 4 (Essential).NQF Level 6/ Diploma/ Degree in Operations/ Production Management or relevant M3 qualifications (Essential).NQF Level 5 in Leadership Development Programme (Advantageous).3-5 Years' experience in a similar position/ Team Leader (Essential).4-5 Years' experience in Harness Manufacturing (Essential).Ability to understand and practice ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001.
