Empire Pest Control is seeking a new trainee/experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team.
This position is for someone living in the East London area or within easy reach.
MUST HAVE FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT.
A vehicle will be supplied.
Must have a clean criminal record.
Our company looks after both residential and commercial premises for all their pest control needs. Our customer interaction and positive approach toward problem-solving and thorough inspections are vital for this role.

We will provide a company vehicle, uniform, communication tools, and cover all associated costs for business use. In return, we are looking for consistent attendance and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
Training is a big part of our industry; we will put you forward for the RSPH Level 2 exam at the earliest opportunity.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, and a call rota is in place.
Must be able to work on your own initiative. No experience required as training will be given. Duties include:
Carrying out one-off and routine visits.
Investigating and identifying pests.
Choosing the most suitable way of controlling them and using traps and poison (including fumigation).
Finding out how the pests are getting in and proofing an area to stop them returning.
Advising clients on how to prevent further infestation.
Ideally, the technician would live in the East London area or close to it. The Technician will be based from home with a vehicle. Therefore, a full driving license is required.

Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm + overtime. The more flexible the candidate is, the better, due to the service nature of pest control; evening, early morning, and weekend calls are often requested. Hours will be based on 40 per week depending on the final agreement between the company and employee.
