JOB DESCRIPTION Assist in providing direct technical support to customers and sales and service team on specific Alfa Laval product/s or applications. The role can include supporting business unit team, product champion and launch manager on specific projects.
The position / About the Job: In this job the Intern would assist with:
Acknowledging Customer RFQs.Screening of customers/prospects Customer support by promptly responding to enquiries.Follow up on quotes, and or any outstanding information from the customer.Ensuring that sales engineers support customer by promptly responding to the various status of quotes & orders.Receiving customer orders & verification against the offer / Quote.Handing over of Orders to the order handlers. Communicate with colleagues, business unit experts / Product centers for technical support.Support sales with product presentations to offer a customized value proposition to the customer.Assist in conducting research, data analysis, and technical evaluations.Participate in site visits, inspections, and client meetings as required.Contribute to the development of engineering solutions and innovative strategies.Learn and apply industry-standard software tools and methodologies.Competencies, experience, and attitudes to do the job: Technical aptitude and willingness to learn. Good skills to work with IT tools, e.g., Office 365. Good team player. Strong communication & networking skills. Fluent in speaking English.
Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Chemical /Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
