Trainee Dental Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.
Duties:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Set up treatment rooms for various dental procedures
Take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and treatments
Maintain accurate patient records and update patient information as necessary
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role
Valid nursing license or certification
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to patients
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in using dental software, electronic health records, and other IT systems
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8.00-£9.00 per hour
