Trade Tested Electrician (Property Industry) - Pietermaritzburg

RedCat Recruitment seeking an experienced TRADE TESTED ELECTRICIAN (PROPERTY INDUSTRY) for a large concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.Ability to communicate in isiZulu and English.Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Trade Tested Electrician with a valid trade test certificate. Wiremans license ESSENTIAL! 5 years hands-on experience working on properties.Issue electrical certificates of compliance.Experience in fault finding and resolving technical issues.Understanding of and experience in the design, wiring and connection of single phase and three phase circuits.Installation of electrical boxes, DB boards, other enclosures, conduits, and wire ways.Assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment and existing installations.Ability to complete job cards and reports, checklists on a daily basis.Must be able to draw up a suitable and accurate bill of materials for projects.Panel building experience is essential.New electrical installations, e.g., lights, plugs, etc.Compile commissioning reports.Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators.Maintaining a record of the maintenance and repair work conducted.Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery.Knowledge of PLC (advantageous).Knowledge of Soft Starters (advantageous).
