Trade Settlement Assistant

Investment team seeks a Trade Settlement Assistant to join their team. This team offers their clients a comprehensive range of financial investment and planning solutions. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within the investment administration team of an established team and is suited to a recent accounting graduate with an interest in an opportunity within financial services.Responsibilities: Place trade of shares with brokers and manage cash flowOpen script accounts Process script transfers (equity assets/ take-ons)Process dematerialisation of share certificates, maintain correct CGT values Process dividends and ensure variances reconciled and resolved Prepare and collate daily and monthly payments, ensure authorisationSupport for colleagues, as requiredRequirements: Minimum of a completed BCom Accounting or similar qualificationPrevious experience in a similar role would be preferableMust be computer literate, with a good level of MS Excel skills (Intermediate)Deadline driven and good team playerHighly numerate with a keen eye for detailAble to work extra time over quarter end as requiredPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
