Main Purpose of The Role:This position will be responsible for growing our Air & Sea market share on the APAC (both inbound and outbound). To build sound relationships with the company network organization, and to build a product that will help us grow our volumes and GP.Minimum Requirements:Min 5 years' experience in Air & Sea operations.Min 3 years' experience in a development or sales orientated role.Work experience / dealings with the APAC network.Must be willing to travel extensively both locally and abroad. Qualifica ons: Matric (essential)Diploma or degree in logistics or any other relevant degree would be an advantage Computer packagesWord, Excel, OutlookIntermediate to advanced computer skills Du es and Responsibilities:Identify and secure major target accounts in collaborate on with the DSV sales GroupJoin customer activity with local sales staffSupport CRM in the transition of new accounts into operations, customer service and overseas networkPlan and monitor annual volume budget for the yearIdentify / agree trade lane targets with overseas counterpartTrade Lane Manager to provide support to Operations and Account management for route specific issue's that cannot be resolved locally as a key figure in the escalation process.Product development and implementation in conjunction with Air & Sea Leadership Collect / report market information on a monthly basis to Senior Management.Monthly KPI review of trade lane performance / target results delivered monthly to Senior management. Create local awareness of trade lane, branding products, establish sales kits, presentations etc. KPI'sVolume Growth on the trade lane in line with agreed budget – Measured Monthly Market intelligence report - measured Monthly Added AdvantagesProven track record in a business development / sales orientated role.Intricate understanding of air and ocean operations / product / carriers / routings etc.
