Trade Execution Coordinator

An agricultural company in Stellenbosch is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Trade Execution Coordinator.
This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of commodity movements and maintaining strong relationships with customers.Responsibilities:Enter and complete all entries of commodity movements data in the system, reconciling all contracts, and investigating and resolving stock differences in collaboration with the inventory coordinator.Measure margins on physical delivery and ensure the settlement of all contracts once completed and in accordance with contract payment terms.Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances, and other necessary information to complete the sale, and resolve all customer queries quickly and efficiently.Plan for customer contract delivery in collaboration with the logistics team and identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coordinated tasks are completed efficiently to support business objectives and customers.Handle basic issues and problems, escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff, and maintain good relationships and open communications with customers and internal parties.Process all product purchase and spot sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with clients, and load payments on Payment Gateway with all needed documents.Capture all received loads as allocated by Agents on Trading 1, and follow up on active and pending queries, outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments to avoid interest charges.Implement measures to prevent payment delays and rolling, and work closely with the Execution and Inventory Teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure stock is managed accurately.Provide feedback in Operations Meetings on open contracts and ensure all intakes are captured on Trading 1 before month-end.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years' experience in a similar role.Exposure to the Food/Feed/Agri commodity sector will be advantageous.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication skills, solution-oriented with proactive problem-solving abilities.Ability to work well in a team while also achieving individual goals, adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.Comfortable working after hours as required.General:Hours: 07h00 – 17h00 with overtime as required.Direct report to the Execution Manager with Matrix reporting to the Operations Manager.Market-related base salary with benefits.Seasonal role (harvest period April - August).Financial year end is December.
