Job Summary We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Trade Deal Manager. The successful candidate will deliver and administer all procedures related to the processing of Trade Finance products and services, perform deal and transaction management, and provide training and support to new clients. This role will manage the interface with front, middle, and back office, as well as internal infrastructure partners. The candidate must ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Job Description Some of your key accountabilities will include the following:
For All Trade Finance Products: Process client instructions within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)Check that all information received is in accordance with the required standards and all client requests are clearly understood and the impact theretoEnsure all processes and controls are executed in line with the documented procedure guides (Excon, BOP, exchange rates)Ensure all Fit to Lend approvals (Credit, legal, Product) are in place and transaction requests are fit for purpose/fit for processing to ensure successful processingClient and Services: Provide a high quality of service to all clients within agreed SLAsEnsure high quality of communication to internal and external clients, both verbal and writtenEnsure that all compliments and complaints are logged on the required systemGovernance Risk and Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards to avoid risks to the Bank through effective & efficient management of transactionsDraw Day End listings and action accordingly to ensure that all work received is actioned on the same dayReview and monitor all office suspense accounts to ensure that there is a debit for every credit within 48 hours and that the reconciliation has a nil balanceInnovation and Change: Provide suggestions to the line manager on improvements and solutions based on knowledge of the trade value chainSend in your CV if you have the required experience as well as:
Degree or Diploma with 5 to 8 years related experience in Trade FinanceCDCS – Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (For FI and Documentary Trade)Education Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
