We are seeking a Trade Area Manager with RE 5 and RE 1 (Key Individual) qualifications for a permanent position in the Western Cape. The role involves managing the sales force within a defined regional territory, overseeing sales operations, meeting targets, and leading the sales team. You will support the bank's efforts to deliver a multi-channel distribution capability to customers and provide supervision to subordinates.RequirementsMust have a CLEAR credit and criminal record.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the bank's strategy to diversify customer, channel, and product capabilities, and drive the implementation of branch components of the strategy.Ensure the region meets assigned targets across all product categories.Develop region-specific plans for customer growth, retention, and revenue growth.Plan and manage branch staffing to meet customer service and sales expectations.Oversee scheduling requirements and plan productivity targets, deploying prioritised work schedules with appropriate deadlines.Monitor and review productivity progress, develop and implement operational improvements, and minimise non-value-added activities.Manage and embed change initiatives to meet business requirements, reduce risk, minimise costs, and improve performance.Promote high performance, uphold company standards, and develop initiatives to enhance sales performance, operational risk management, profitability, productivity, customer service, and product diversification.Ensure high-quality deals and customer satisfaction, adhere to internal controls, and optimise branch profitability.Recruit and employ staff according to company procedures and employment law.Establish goals and objectives for yourself and your team, implement training and development plans, and monitor performance standards.Achieve area targets related to service, customer growth, sales, staff engagement, learning and development, personal development, costs, FAIS, risk, and compliance.Monitor and address employee performance, conduct annual appraisals, and manage disciplinary and grievance procedures.Desired Experience & QualificationsFSCA-aligned qualification at NQF Level 7 with RE 5 and RE 1 (Key Individual).8 years of management experience in a branch or equivalent experience within banking or retail distribution.Must have a CLEAR credit and criminal record.Intermediate skills in analysing, coping with pressures, delivering results, leading, planning, and communicating.Package & RemunerationSalary: R57,000 to R110,370 per month (based on experience and qualifications).Location: Western Cape.Permanent position.Interested?If you are interested, please apply directly through Pnet or email us at ****** emailing, include "Trade Area Manager – Western Cape" in the subject line and specify the area you are applying for.
