Description The team leader will be responsible for building and leading the sales support a team in day-to-day Sales activities, To ensure that the sales support team continues to adapt to meet the current and future vision of the Transactional Product and Support business.Key Responsibilities• Building a sales support team to enable day-to-day Sales responsibilities, namely: Client Onboarding, Processing of Guarantees and other client document requests • Ensuring any day-to-day tasks performed by the Sales support team are performed efficiently and within agreed timelines• Day-to-day query support • Support in unblocking any obstacles impacting the teams performance • Reporting and Monitoring of effective SLA management by the Sales Support team • Implementing plans to improve team performance and resolve process knowledge gaps within team• Team rostering to ensure distribution of teams workload is distributed to ensure optimal execution/delivery time• Internal Stakeholder management (ICO, GLO Doc Man team, Sales, Corporate CSC, TPS Product Operations etc).• Upskilling New starters on processes (Mentoring)• Coordinating annual Continual upskilling of team to ensure excellence in daily and ad-hoc processes • Coaching of Existing team members • Coordination and Facilitation of Business and ICO Engagement forum • Managing the risks within the team• Ensuring team processes are kept up to date to support business continuity • Effective management of digitisation of ICIB clients onto Investec Business Online• Engaging with clients to obtain required KYC documentation and effectively providing relevant progress updates to Sales consultant and client• Assisting Sales team with client onboarding, including capturing client information on systems and managing the end-to-end onboarding process until client is successfully onboarded• Effective processing of Guarantee requests from Clients• Digitisation of clients on to Investec Business Online• Ownership and maintenance of the Investec Approved Beneficiary client relationships• Processing of Investec Approved Beneficiary applications• Support with client reports for Product lending facility applications • Assisting Sales consultants with ad-hoc client document requests• Build and maintain relationships with other Investec business units Leadership• Providing thought leadership, inspire confidence, generate excitement, enthusiasm and commitment, with the passion to drive business forward.
