Tour Specialist, Western Cape

We are seeking a Tour Specialist for a permanent role based in Simonstown, Western Cape.Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:Minimum 10 years' experience in inbound travel with a relevant degree.Good knowledge of Excel and other programs for the travel industry.Good communication and negotiation skills.Driver's license.Resident in Simon's Town or Southern Peninsula, Cape Town.Client base is mainly in Poland - knowledge of Polish language will be an advantage.Very good knowledge of inbound booking, costing and handling procedures; marketing and sales experience necessary.The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Preparing itineraries and costing of our tours in Southern Africa for individual tourists and groups.Handling tours in RSA, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Madagascar.Preparing and costing individual, tailor-made tour programs for small and larger groups.Making reservations for accommodation, transport, events, safaris, air tickets, and negotiating special rates with service providers.Rendering marketing services for the company on social media, Google, and directly with various Tour Operators abroad.Salary: Market relatedPlease email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements to ****** with "Tour Specialist" in the subject line.If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
