TOOLMAKERLOCATION: Kariega Plant – PEDIRECT REPORT: Tooling SupervisorREQUIRIMENTSGrade 12 or N3Qualified tested Toolmaker with a minimum of 5 years post trade test and press tool experienceKnowledge of stainless steel pressing advantageousMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESPlans and prepares order documents related to equipmentVerifies order documents with respect to completeness, functionality and feasibility based on experiencesDocuments production material/equipment; corrects and amends drawings if necessaryInspects received parts and initiates rework/adjustments if neededSupports the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipmentConducts test of production materials/equipmentProduces parts with complicated structure and extensive equipmentSets-up devices under consideration of operational standardsMaintains equipment, dismantles deficient equipment and checks it according to nonconformity reportConducts and documents repairsAdjusts maintenance standards after consultationPlans and coordinates allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor
