Making of Precision ToolsExecuting tooling and manufacturing tools, jigs, and dies to the required specification.Executing test runs with finished tools or dies to assure components attain parameters and adapting as necessary.Ensuring that the Senior Toolmaker approves the completed tool for handover to Production.Selecting, devising, preparing, and fabricating shop aids needed to complete work tasks.Maintaining quality of work and achieving production targets.Ensuring the correct materials for the specified job are available and of the correct size.Ensuring tooling complies with health and safety requirements.Performing quality checks to ensure that the quality of all products is correct.Record keeping and corrective action, including:Checking the last off when a tool is reported as faulty or broken.Performing physical checks or fault finding on the tool to identify problems.Keeping records of all repairs and changes to tools in the TOOL HISTORY CARD, which includes:Parts replacedTool downtimeOperator issuesUnits producedAny other production issues on the toolQualifications:Tool Die & Jig ApprenticeshipExperience working in a factory environment is essentialAbility to manage a team and plan aheadBasic mechanical abilityAbility to identify all components needed to complete assembliesAbility to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and managersGood organizational skillsResponsibility and problem-solving skillsStrong administrative skillsAbility to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problemsCapacity to grasp concepts easilyIT literacy to deal with various technologies and programsAttention to detail to ensure high levels of qualityAbility to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work in a logical, systematic mannerHow to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to ******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered to avoid duplication on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
