Toolmaker required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern CapeRequirements:Must have working knowledge of Press Tooling and shop floor experienceAt least 6 years' Production/ Technical experience in a manufacturing environment / production facility in the Press Shop DepartmentKnowledge of the IATF Quality System related to the Press ShopTool Maker or related Trade Test qualification is essentialAbility to set, operate and maintain all machines within the Press Shop environmentWell organized with the ability to prioritize tasks as needed, coupled with good planning capabilitiesResponsibilities:An understanding or involvement of Press tool design as well as the ability to set up new tools and Tool developmentFully understand CAD drawingsAbility to work in 3D modelling programmesAttend to all tooling and machine breakdowns.Ability to manufacture and repair Press Tools, jigs, and fixtures.Ability to changeover Press tools for different components set upsEnsure sufficient stock for high wearing and high volume running toolsOrdering of machine sparesStaff management and trainingDevelop and co-ordinate continuous improvementAdhere to all Health and Safety guidelinesShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at
