Tooling Process Engineer (Jigs & Fixtures)

Possible Tasks within this RoleAssisting supporting departments in pre-series buildSupporting launch team with facility functionality, dimensional mile stones,Meisterbock acceptance, surface quality improvements, corrosion milestones and supporting series Production and Quality in achieving quality targets (Dimensional targets /Functional/ Stability / BIW audits / Final Vehicle audit/DRR/ Flow-out) Fitment trials, problem detections and resolution.Investigating build / audit related problems (root cause analysis, establishment and implementation of corrective actions).Assisting Process Engineer and CFT leader in designing and implementing new/modified facilities or gauges to improve the building process.Providing feedback in the form of written and visual presentations on corrective actions at Management ReviewsManaging of problem sheets (Raising, follow up and closure of problem sheets)Ensuring Stability of assemblies and coordinating the non-conformities found with relevant parties (Parts, Facilities and Process)Qualification RequirementsNational N Diploma /National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Have at least 3 years technical experience in the automotive industry and extensive knowledge of the vehicle production processYou must have 3 5 years Toolmaker experience (Tool-, Jig- and Die-maker) or 3 5 years measuring experience in Jigs and Fixtures or Tooling.Be familiar with detailed technical drawings and fixture drawingsHave proven analytical skills with an innovative approach to Problem SolvingBe able to create detailed reports for distribution to relevant departments and Senior Management
