REQUIREMENTSGrade 12, relevant qualification highly advantageousMinimum 5 yrs experience in procurement/logistics imports & exports (daily basis)Pastel experience - an advantageExperience with Letter of Credit payment method AdvantageousAbility to speak German EssentialMicrosoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint proficientMust be a team playerGood communication skillsGood problem-solving skillsMust be able to work independentlyWork permit, if necessary, must be availableOwn transport DUTIESSourcing/procuring various products from local & internationally suppliersCompiling of quotations for cross trade & import shipments to customersLiaising with freight forwarders to obtain air / sea / courier quotationsIssuing orders to various international & local suppliersExpedite and follow up with suppliers to schedule collectionsDaily follow up with suppliers on outstanding ordersArrange & fast track shipments via Courier/ Air/ SeaUpdating customers on their orders and shipping delivery timesKeeping track of customers account in terms of payments due/ statementsMaintaining good relationships with suppliers and customersProduct calculationDuties are not limited to the above, the position will also include other secretarial duties should assistance be required.
