Whim Hospitality is seeking a passionate Restaurant General Manager for Tillie's fine dining restaurant on Camp Lucy's 282-acre Resort property. This person should not only bring their talent but also their excitement to create an amazing holistic experience to everyone that walks through the doors. You will be a part of concepting all Front of House operations that will bring people from near and far to dine in the highly stylized restaurant space fashioned out of a 19th century Vietnamese town hall with inspirations from around the world.
Our property currently consists of 5 event spaces, 41 hotel rooms, activities, and a resort style pool. Camp Lucy will be adding 13 hotel rooms and a luxury destination Spa in 2024.
Responsibilities:Manage all day-to-day F&B operations to the highest standards at Tillie's RestaurantActively work on the floor during serviceInspect and develop standard operating proceduresIdentify customer needs and respond proactivelyLead FOH team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnelAnticipate customer needs with the highest level of hospitality and professionalismBuild seasonal menus for the cocktail programsManage Private Dining Room salesMaintain all alcohol inventoryManage the tip process for all FOH staffKeep a dynamic and diverse wine menuDevelop food and beverage related programs with the Activities ManagerFollow-up with reviews and maintain high scoresDaily quality controlManage pool program and staffingAssist with and work with culinary teamsKey qualities in the person we're looking for include:Extraordinary wine and beverage knowledge with a sommelier certification or equivalent knowledge base is a bonusAbility to develop unique cocktails and beveragesStrong training and etiquette skills at the highest level of hospitalityMust be comfortable working on a computer with a grasp on most common operating systems such as Open Table and Silverware POSProven ability to run high-end restaurantsMust be able to work every weekend and holidaysMust be organized and possess grace under pressurePolished and ProfessionalBenefits:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance15 Days PTO and 9 Paid HolidaysDiscounted Stays at our Hotel and our UK PropertyPerformance Incentive PlanCompensation: Based on Experience
