We instill values of service, leadership and discipline rooted in our Christian faith brought by the missionaries more than a century ago.Role OverviewWe seek a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead TKEI into its next phase of growth and development. The CEO will provide strategic leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, seeking funding for bursary and capital development, and developing the infrastructure to support the educational programs. This role requires a leader who will be the custodian of the vision, mission and ethos of Tiger Kloof Educational Institution. The CEO is accountable to the board of TKEI and works closely with the principal of the TKCS and the SGB to ensure the school's academic excellence. The CEO will implement the strategies, policies and plans of The Board of Directors and will inspire and guide a dedicated team of managers, educators and staff on campus.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the institution, aligning with its mission and values.Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest education and student welfare standards.Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term goals and strategies.Foster a positive, inclusive school culture that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement.Manage the institution's financial resources effectively, ensuring sustainability and growth.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, alumni, and the wider community.Lead fundraising and development initiatives to support the institution's goals and ensure financial stability.Stay abreast of educational trends and innovations, ensuring the institution remains at the forefront of educational excellence.Qualifications and ExperienceA degree or higher in Education, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in an educational setting.Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.Strong financial experience, which includes managing budgets, resources and fundraising.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse community.A deep commitment to the values and mission of Tiger Kloof Educational Institution.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, statement of their vision for Tiger Kloof Educational Institution, references, a police clearance certificate and a financial plan to do fundraising to the Chairperson of the Board by 7 October 2024.
