Job Summary: The Finance Team Leader will support the Financial Manager in overseeing all financial transactions, including coordinating the finance team in their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate and timely accounting of financial transactions while playing an important role in budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifying Criteria: NQF level 5 and higher in finance, economics, business administration or similar specialization.2 years or more of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience (FinTech industry experience an advantage).Strong skills in financial software (Xero is an advantage) with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, with good decision-making and time management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels.Responsibilities: Weekly & monthly revenue billing and management of debtors book.Full bank reconciliations.Receivables & payables account reconciliations.Daily & weekly payment remittance submissions to FM.Monthly trial balance preparation.Relationship management with client's payment teams.Support in the efficient integration of operations & finance team tasks.Assist in managing the performance of the finance team, ensuring productivity and compliance with company objectives.Assist in managing cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability.Review adequacy of internal financial controls and the application thereof across the finance activities of the team.Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial performance, identifying key trends and insights.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R15000,00 - R22000,00 per month
