REQUIREMENTSDegree/ Diploma in Nursing with approximately 5 years post basic and proven leadership and/ or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in area of specialization)Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essentialA postgraduate qualification in Management and Nursing Education would prove advantageousAt least 5 years experience as a qualified theatre registered nurseCurrent registration with the South African Nursing CouncilBasic understanding of labour legislation, financial and change management principlesComputer proficiency (MS Office)Driver's license and own transportRESPONSIBILITIESManage the theatre complex at the hospitalResponsible for managing and coordinating clinical practice and resources within the units to achieve the company and hospital's strategic objectives of quality, growth and people
