Qualifications: BCom Accounting Complete SAICA / SAIPA articlesIFRSSkills:Advanced ExcelKnowledge of Microsoft Business Central is advantageous5years experience in financeAgriculture experience is highly beneficialJob description: Review and reconcile creditors accounts and process payments.Assist with preparing and reviewing bank payments.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring they align with supporting schedules.Process and reconcile intergroup transactions.Manage monthly and year-end journal entries.Prepare financial records up to trial balance and management accounts, ensuring they align with budgets.Compile and ensure the timely submission and payment of PAYE and VAT returns.Provide support for the external audit process.Oversee asset accounting and manage insurance-related matters.Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance team to enhance efficiency while maintaining robust internal controls.Mentor and provide guidance to finance team members.Perform ad hoc tasks and provide cross-departmental support during busy periods.
