An exciting opportunity has become available for a Trader/Analyst to join a dynamic investment team. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional, capable of handling large volumes of trades and providing essential trade and performance analysis across various asset classes.Key Responsibilities:Trade Execution: The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades in equities, bonds, funds, and currencies, following the instructions from Portfolio Managers.Timely Implementation: They will ensure that trades are executed accurately and efficiently with various custodians and banks, both locally and globally.Post-Trade Monitoring: The individual will be required to monitor post-trade positions, verifying that trades have been executed as instructed and that client positions are aligned with expectations.Model Portfolio Management: A key responsibility will be to regularly review and update model portfolios, ensuring client portfolios are in line with their respective models. The analyst will also identify and address discrepancies in clients portfolios.Ad-hoc Analysis: The candidate will assist with performance analysis and fund analysis, supporting decision-making processes and ensuring portfolios are optimized.Trade Follow-up: They will actively follow up on the implementation of trades to confirm they are completed on time and according to the original instructions.Skills & Qualifications:Excel Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for performing trade calculations and analyses efficiently.Attention to Detail: The role demands a high level of accuracy, particularly when dealing with large quantities of trades and data.Asset Class Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience with equities, bonds, funds, and currency trading are required.Pressure Management: The ideal candidate must be able to perform well under pressure, handling multiple tasks and tight deadlines.Trade Execution Experience: Previous experience in executing trades with custodians and banks will be essential.Analytical Skills: The candidate must be comfortable conducting both performance and fund analysis on an ad-hoc basis.Desired Qualities:A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can contribute effectively to the investment team.A strong team player with the ability to collaborate with Portfolio Managers and other team members.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and take appropriate action.If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of trading and investment analysis, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing investment team.
