We are seeking an experienced Textile Buyer to join our team and ensure the smooth procurement of all Bill of Materials (BOM) required for our production.Role Overview:The Textile Buyer will be responsible for the procurement of all raw materials, including fabrics, elastics, and other necessary components. This role requires a meticulous planner who can manage budgets, plan deliveries, and ensure a cohesive supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience in garment manufacturing (not limited to), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Xero (teachable), and PLM systems (teachable).Key Responsibilities:Procurement: Purchase all BOM for the garment factory, including fabrics, elastics, and other materials.Planning: Develop and manage procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of materials.Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets for all purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness.Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a smooth supply chain process.Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory using Microsoft Excel, Xero, and PLM systems.Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Development Coordinator to meet development needs, and with the Planning Coordinator and Warehouse Manager to meet production requirements and timelines.Quality Control: Ensure all purchased materials meet the required quality standards.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in textile buying, garment manufacturing, or a related field.Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Xero, and PLM systems.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of textile materials, garment production processes, and supply chain management.Abilities: Excellent planning, budgeting, and administrative skills.
