POSITION SUMMARY:We are looking for a new Territory Manager for the Interventional Product Portfolio to join our South African team. The position is responsible for creating and maintaining contacts with customers in the assigned territory and to offer Teleflex products to support a high-quality code while keeping the sales goals in mind. The Territory Manager Interventional will report into the Commercial Director Interventional and collaborate with all members of the Sales, Customer Service and Marketing, as well as other departments.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:•Present Teleflex products, based on the company strategy and priorities.•Increase sales, market share and profitability simultaneously according to company´s plan.•Pass all available product trainings, to have good product knowledge, to spend time studying the features and benefits of the products, then matching them to the customer needs, to provide support to customer service in the assigned product area and to participate in the relevant product trainings and educations.•Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships, to identify customer's needs and to strive for successful sales deal.•Keep a data base of information about customers, business contacts in the assigned region.•Monitor competitor activity, competitor products mainly in the assigned product area.•cooperate with management and marketing on the preparing and executing of product launches in assigned product area.•Cooperate with stakeholders on tenders in assigned product area.•Report on weekly bases all important events and observations concerning hospital changes, tenders, etc.•Participate in sales meetings.•Represent the company at national and local congresses.•Adhere and ensure the compliance of Teleflex´s Code of Conduct, all company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standardsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:•Master or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Equivalent clinical experience will be considered if deemed adequate to perform the duties and responsibilities of Territory Manager•At least 5 years sales experience where at least 3 years were in the medical devices field. Experience in sales of Interventional Cardiology products would be of benefit•Familiar with Cath Lab environment strongly recommended•Ability to train KOL's and HCPs on engineering and technical specifications of products •Strong formal and informal communication skills in English•Advanced MS Office skills •Ability to work independently, and as a valued team member with a hands-on mentality•Exceptional time management skills, flexible, self-motivated•Able to travel national and international•A valid driving license is requiredAbout Us As a global provider of medical technologies, Teleflex is driven by our purpose to improve the health and quality of people's lives.
