To promote, maintain and develop sales in top Line to Alpha Pharm in terms of Wholesale, specific products and promotions as directed, and to ensure compliance with the Franchise image. Gather client intelligence, analyse, and feed data to inform key stakeholders, enabling them to make well-informed business decisions. This role will identify opportunities, generate leads, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (outputs) of this, a key income generating position, are:
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities by researching potential clients and building a robust sales pipeline, expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.
Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, and presentations to discuss their needs and propose suitable business solutions through Alpha Pharm. Meet strategic cycle objective: pre-cycle meetings and the promotion of sales.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet company targets and expand the commercial client base.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, and communicate their value to potential customers.
Negotiation & Closing: Handle the full sales cycle, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with customers, as well as hold ongoing business reviews.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Recruitment of Franchise members / presenting franchise benefits to customers/prospective new customers.
Market Analysis: Stay informed regarding industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Reporting: Track sales performance, pipeline status, and key activities using CRM tools, and provide regular updates to sales management. Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal teams, focusing on performance metrics, KPIs, and business insights. Monthly tracking of purchase trends. Customer data update and customer tracer. Generate Reports / Submit detailed and accurate written reports to management.
Collaboration: Work closely with the cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, operations and customer success teams) to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Attendance of customer meetings and functions.
Target Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and KPIs.
Training & Support: Provide training to business users on how to utilize BI tools and interpret data insights effectively.
Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Aid in predictive analysis and forecasting, using statistical tools and data modelling techniques to support business planning.
Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management.

Competencies and Minimum Requirements
Minimum Grade 12.
Relevant post grade 12 qualification in sales will be advantageous.
3 years' previous working experience within a similar role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Familiarity with market research techniques to identify potential customers.
Code 08 license and own transport.
Sales Skills
Strong knowledge of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced sales environments and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a flexible, challenging sales environment.
