Temporary Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present monthly management accounts.Review and report variances from the budget.Ensure the trial balance is accurate and complete.Review Finance Officer's work to ensure all transactions are booked timely and balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.Review monthly journals and reconciliations.Manage bank reconciliations, investment accounts, and cash flow.Sign off on supplier reconciliations and payments.Prepare and submit reports for stakeholders (Dtic, FSB, and National Treasury).Prepare payment requisitions and manage uploads to the banking system.Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by management.Qualifications:Accounting degree with articles completed.CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA qualification preferred.Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience (including 3 years of articles and 2 years post-articles in a financial institution).
