Job title : Temp QC General Operator Job Location : Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth Deadline : January 09, 2025 Quick Recommended Links Jobs by Location Job by industries Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Parkerising - Ensure that the parkerising bath is operating as per the documented work instructions Perform the parkerising process on items as per the specified requirements Lifting Operations and General Operating sideloader and forklift up until 15 Ton Operate crane to move items in the QC area Ensure the QC area is clean and tidy at all times Move items to the next operation when required Ensure items are placed in a safe manner on the inspection racks Ensure that all lifting equipment is in a good serviceable condition Perform material identification painting on material after incoming inspection Clean and preserve QC inspection gauges Wirebrushing flanges on DBM pipes Stamping of jobs (traceability) QUALIFICATIONS:   Grade 12 EXPERIENCE: Essential:   Previous experience of basic and power tools.
  Competent in lifting operations SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:   Knowledge of safe operations of basic hand and power tools, manufacturing and / heavy engineering experience, organized, accurate, good time management skills.
