A leading hospitality company is seeking a skilled and experienced Temporary Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to bring their financial expertise to a fast-paced and exciting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Financial Controller , you will:
Oversee the daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Manage the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights to leadership.
Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and assist in budgeting processes.
Conduct variance analysis and ensure accurate cost control measures.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
Support the implementation of financial process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
What Were Looking For:
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BCom).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
