Temp - Cylinder Truck Driver Witbank

The above Temporary vacancy exists in our Packaged Gas department at our Witbank facility, reporting to the Facility Foreman.

Overview & Key Responsibilities This role is responsible for the delivery and collection of Packaged Gas to and from internal & external customer sites safely and reliably.
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Responsible for the pre-post journey checks of the vehicle; Responsible for the loading and offloading of cylinders; Ensure safe and efficient delivery and collection of cylinders at assigned destinations; Responsible for proper housekeeping and general ad hoc activities; Ensure SHERQ standards are constantly adhered to.
Essential Requirements A minimum Grade 12 certificate; A valid unendorsed EC Drivers License with PrDP; A valid Forklift licence; Must have valid Dangerous Goods Certificate; Must have own reliable transport; A minimum of 5 years in heavy duty driving experience; Must be experienced in transportation and handling of Dangerous Goods; Must be medically fit to perform physical work; Must be willing to work Flexi hours & overtime when required; Must be able to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and accurate delivery paperwork; Must have good verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English
