We seek a vibrant and energetic individual to join our team as a Telesales Clerk. The role's primary purpose is to actively and successfully market the company's products and services to current and new customers whilst building strong customer relations to achieve the KPIs of the position and growth in sales for the company.Role and ResponsibilitiesActively and successfully market campaigns for promoting product and service offers to current and potential customers.Successfully solicit orders from assigned customers by actively making outgoing customer calls from assigned calling lists.Achieve and surpass set sales targets as per marketing strategies.Identify opportunities for sales and effectively present the key features and advantages of the company to secure new business.Maintain, develop, and grow the customer contact database and calling list detail.Suggest flagged product equivalents in stock should the customer requirement not be available.Seek out new ideas to generate sales opportunities to meet company targets by upselling and cross-selling products.Grow product knowledge independently and via actively participating in product information and training sessions.Monitor and timeously respond to all WhatsApp, email and other digital platform orders and customer queries.Constantly follow up with clients regarding their orders, customer queries or promotional events with minimal supervision.Keep and maintain records of daily telesales activities and sales promo statistics and successfully achieve sales and promotional targets.Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients and their employees.Professionally engage with clients and co-workers at all times and respond to customer queries timeously and accurately.Punctuality and continuous improvement within all Key Performance areas.Work as part of a team to achieve company goals, vision, and mission.Ensure confidentiality of all customer and company information.Any business-related task as assigned by line manager or Senior management.Key and Minimum Requirements:Grade 12.1 – 3 years Telesales/Telemarketing experience or 2-years reception with sales experience.Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written.Exceptional marketing and upselling skills and proven track record of achieving sales targets.Excellent customer service and relationship building track record and skill.Minimum computer literacy includes: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive environment.Access to reliable transportation.Ability to work overtime as per operational requirements.Candidates are to specify which position they are applying for in the subject line of their emails.
