What You'll LearnFrom day one, you'll work alongside experienced Engineers, delivering vital services. You might work on large-scale transformations, code in various languages, create DevOps pipelines, or build new mobile app features. Learn how to apply Agile methodology and see the impact of your contributions in a team environment.
Supported by your Engineering Lead, there's additional learning and certifications up for grabs, including cloud training. You'll also have access to our on-demand learning platform and opportunities to network at hackathons supported by Google, Microsoft, and IBM.

What You Could Be DoingDevelop coding skills with languages like JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, and Kotlin.Automate processes to save time for colleagues and customers.Ensure new software offers a seamless customer experience.Stress-test customer journeys and find improvements.Build customer service infrastructure for branches.RequirementsHave just completed your penultimate year of university during the placement dates.Basic understanding of at least one modern programming language or framework.Love of technology and a strong desire to learn.LocationsThis programme operates in various UK regional locations including South West (Bristol & Cardiff), West Yorkshire (Halifax & Leeds), North West (Manchester, Cheadle and Chester) & Edinburgh. You'll select one of these locations and be based there throughout your programme. We support hybrid working, with all colleagues expected to spend a minimum of two days each week in the office you have been placed.
