Technologist - Traffic & Transport Planning

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Durban, or Centurion .
Role: Technologist - Traffic & Transport Planning Industry: Transportation Engineering Level: Mid-Senior (4 Years Experience) Key Requirements: BTech Degree in Civil Engineering (Post-graduate is advantageous.)
Registered with ECSA.
4 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic analysis, and modelling.
Proven experience in the design of transportation and traffic infrastructure including roads, public transport systems, railway corridors, and urban developments.
Familiarity with transport modelling software (e.g., PTV, SIDRA, Synchro) and GIS applications are advantageous.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
Ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and effectively communicate technical findings.
Strong understanding of traffic simulation models and their application to real-world scenarios.
Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and coordinating work on transportation projects.
Ability to engage with clients, participate in meetings, explain technical work, and offer recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to manage and meet client expectations while delivering high-quality solutions.
