DescriptionOverview:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician specializing in refrigeration to join our team. This role is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of all hot and cold beverage equipment, including fountain, vending, freestanding cooling, built-in, and coffee machines. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired promptly and according to the company's quality standards.
QualificationsGrade 12 Certificate.Trade Test certification in Refrigeration.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in commercial or industrial refrigeration.Competence in the safe handling of gases.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.PC literacy is advantageous for administrative tasks.Valid Driver's License is required.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in commercial or industrial refrigeration.
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Repairs: Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all hot and cold beverage equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Administration: Handle all administrative duties related to maintenance and repair tasks, including reporting and documentation.Spares Management: Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and vehicle requirements to ensure readiness for repairs and maintenance tasks.Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, including communication with the call centre to address service inquiries and updates.SHEQ Responsibilities: Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, ensuring compliance in all maintenance and repair activities.
