In addition to specific tasks as directed by management, the Senior Artisan's primary responsibility is to:
Perform root cause analysis of complex problems on vehicles.Identify the root cause and perform necessary repairs to vehicles following area procedures.Interact with ECC and ATC to resolve system-related issues and plan for future system requirements.Ensure defects are captured in IPSQ and all information is correct.Diagnose the root cause.Draw rework instructions from dealer net when necessary.Perform necessary reworks on vehicles.Release the defect/rework in IPSQ with an accurate description of operations performed.Conduct final testing including releasing the retest block.Act as a stand-in for Process Leader and Rework Planner when required.Supervise delegated reworks and teams handling special reworks.Qualifications and experience: N6 qualification in Auto Electrician or Motor Mechanic.Trade test in Auto Electrician or Motor Mechanic.Minimum 5 years experience as a Rework Artisan.Minimum 5 years practical experience in the automotive sector.Knowledge of ISTA Software.Experience working on E/E Web information guide.
