Technician

Technician required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha, Eastern CapeRequirements:Three to Five year's relevant experience as Technician within the automotive manufacturing industry Working knowledge of the Injection Moulding processDesign jigs, fixtures, conveyer systems, robotics as necessary Strong organizational and prioritization skillsMust have an understanding of the moulds, materials, injection process, and machineryProficiency in technical set-up of injection moulding machines and working knowledge on establishment of robust processesResponsibilities:Responsible for timely changeover, set up injection moulds and work stationsWork with Production Assistant and Quality Department on approval of partsAid in Design jigs, fixtures, conveyer systems, robotics as necessary tomeet or improve standardsAssist Production Assistants in shift operation as requestedDocument tooling damage and/or processing issues, maintenance issues asappropriateSets up all machining equipment related to each job changeWorks in a team to minimize machine down time and meet or exceed production standardsUnderstands all procedures associated with the handling of hazardous wastePerforms all maintenance of the tools/machines as requiredObserves machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunctionPerforms workspace housekeepingShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at
