Technician

Technician required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Requirements: Three to Five year's relevant experience as Technician within the automotive manufacturing industry Working knowledge of the Injection Moulding process Design jigs, fixtures, conveyer systems, robotics as necessary Strong organizational and prioritization skills Must have an understanding of the moulds, materials, injection process, and machinery Proficiency in technical set-up of injection moulding machines and working knowledge on establishment of robust processes Responsibilities: Responsible for timely changeover, set up injection moulds and work stations Work with Production Assistant and Quality Department on approval of parts Aid in Design jigs, fixtures, conveyer systems, robotics as necessary tomeet or improve standards Assist Production Assistants in shift operation as requested Document tooling damage and/or processing issues, maintenance issues asappropriate Sets up all machining equipment related to each job change Works in a team to minimize machine down time and meet or exceed production standards Understands all procedures associated with the handling of hazardous waste Performs all maintenance of the tools/machines as required Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction Performs workspace housekeeping Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at
