The Technical Writer is responsible for creating clear and concise documentation that helps users understand and use complex products and services. They collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and present it in a way that is accessible to the target audience.
Responsibilities Creating and maintaining solution guides covering multiple components that operate together to provide a solution for specific payment and digital product transaction use cases. Collaborating with product teams regarding components provided by each team to understand the way in which they work to provide a solution across components. Creating and maintaining guides for external integrators/developers using internally developed APIs. Researching and obtaining information from various sources in compiling documentation. Providing editing support for all documents as needed. Maintaining a document library with a relevant and appropriate taxonomy. Measuring document effectiveness through interaction with target readers. Developing documentation standards for various document types. Communicating complex concepts in a concise, audience-friendly manner. Collaborating with product teams on product development and launches. Competencies Professional attitude. Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines. Ability to create appropriate diagrams to convey the meaning of technical concepts. Ability to translate technical concepts into easily understood documentation tailored to the needs of the target readers, often non-technical in nature. Requirements 5+ years of experience in writing technical documentation for software products. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent working knowledge of OpenAPI Specification 3. Excellent working knowledge of Markdown and similar. Strong Git skills. Relevant Bachelor's degree or similar qualification advantageous, but not essential.
